A SAFE, SECURE AND CARING ENVIRONMENT

Heatherhill has a safe, secure and caring environment to support student learning. Most classrooms look onto an attractive courtyard with gardens of native trees and shrubs. We have a clearly defined student code of conduct, which details rights and responsibilities and college rules. Our culturally diverse students work together in a supportive, harmonious environment.

COMMITMENT TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

We are committed to improving the quality of our programs. Our Charter identifies improvement areas and our priorities. Each year we review our performance. Teachers work in teams to ensure improvement.

STRIVING FOR SUCCESS

We work with local primary schools to assist with the transition of students from Year 6 to 7. At the end of Year 12 a high percentage of students are successful in obtaining their first or second preference for a university or TAFE institute, or by gaining employment. Student achievement is recognised by the presentation of academic, sporting and service awards.

Guided tours of the college can be arranged at any time by contacting either the Principal,  or Assistant Principal.
